The prodigal son Joshua Mora Peña
"Murphy's Law says if something go wrong, no matter what you do, you should go wrong. Some become slaves of the law. According to them, everything goes wrong in life, even those things they have planned in detail, they go wrong. This not have to be so, but nevertheless, some live under this law, Murphy's Law.
True nobody is exempt from the laws that govern this world, natural laws, physical, civil, federal, and without any you doubt, many more laws. A common law today is "the law of retaliation" eye for eye, tooth for tooth "or in other words," that makes me pay me. " We call this revenge or vengeance. But there is another very important law is the law of God.
The people of Israel lived for forty years in the wilderness. By doing God's will and fulfill his commandments and statutes lived under the law of Murphy. All they got wrong, constantly criticized Moses longed for the wandering life protesters who had lived and because they deserved, disobeyed God and His servant Moses. They rebelled against their Creator and the Bible itself clearly states that those who sinned, they were in the desert, did not enter the promised land, a land flowing with milk and honey. Only two people they left Egypt 40 years earlier, entered the land God had promised them, Joshua and Caleb. Not even Moses could enjoy the land they both wanted to know because it disobeyed God. That is tremendous break the laws of God!
Someone said once that "actually, we do not we break God's laws, they break us us." And how true is this! By disobeying any of divine laws, we are the ones who suffer the consequences. Ignoring the provisions of God, does not affect you disobey the law that affects us but ourselves, that we break His laws.
The Bible says that the Pharisees lived under the law of righteousness. It is true that is owed to them the flame of God that has kept alive between the period of the two Testaments, but during the time of Christ, members of this sect were too extreme, legalistic, fans, wanting to comply with all All the Law (of God and Moses) when they themselves not kept, so Christ called them hypocrites and condemn, among other things. In Luke 11:42 we read: "But, about us, Pharisees! You tithe mint and rue and every herb, and pass over justice and the love of God. These things I have done, without leaving that." Read the following verses to see that even the interpreters of the law were offended by the words that Christ told the Pharisees.
In the United States, during her time of colonization, there was another law. It was the time of the cowboys, they had to protect their rights and this law is meant those who were quicker to draw his gun to defend themselves. It was called the "law of the strongest" but in reality it was the law of fast. Many films have been filmed in this connection.
The Bible speaks about another law, "the law of sin and death." This law is one that condemns us. In Romans 6:16 we read, "Do you not know that if you yield yourselves servants to obey, are slaves of the one whom you obey, whether of sin unto death, or of disobedience to justice?" And Paul himself, who wrote the letter to the Romans says in chapter 7, verse 24, "Miserable me! Who will free me from this body of death?" And the same is given the answer to your rhetorical question in chapter 8, verse 1, "And now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit. "Notice that the word Spirit is capitalized, meaning that it is the Holy Spirit, the third person of the trinity.
This law of sin and of death, which kills humans. Living under the law of sin and death is, in fact, living under Murphy's Law. Everyone who lives in disobedience to God suffers the consequences of his sin. A Throughout the Bible we realize that there was a human being who has sinned and been spared the consequences. All received payment for what they did wrong. All they got it wrong and it was not until annealed his sin, he was asked God's forgiveness and then God prospered in everything.
And history repeats itself. Today, all those living under Murphy's Law can not prosper in life, everything goes wrong. For most who strive to make things right, even after meticulous planning, in the end, do not leave things as they thought.
But you do not have to live under the law of Murphy. God promises us in Joshua 1:8 that if we do everything that is written in that book [the Bible] will be all right "shall not depart from your mouth this book of the law, but day and night meditate on it, to observe to do according to all that is written therein: for then thou shalt your way prosperous, and you will have success. "It is so simple that even a child understands very well what it means. It's a matter of obedience. To know obeying God, doing what the Bible says.
It is interesting living, indeed, under the law of God! Making and living according to His will. Everything will be OK, according to his will, when we hold to God's law, the law of love.
I want to finish with a Bible verse, Romans 7:22, "because according to my inner being I delight in the law of God." Under what law are you living? "Under the law of God or Murphy?"
