The work is organized so that the reader is looking the same situation seen from different points of view so each paragraph you add arguments that make the reader is difficult to reach a definitive conclusion.
Personally I caught the story and page after page Halcomb (the city where the drama happens) would draw in my mind, the characters came to life and I was familiar. But I am attracted wide attention is the fact that the author described murder in brief as one more event ( in another genre would be the central fact most important).
The author also opens as it were the end of the story with nothing more, nothing less than the "exaggerated" words Floyd Wells, a cellmate of Hitckock ( one of the murderers of the novel) who had talked about the richness of Clutter ( the murdered family): " I can not remember exactly how he talked about Mr. Clutter. It must have been when we remember the jobs, various jobs we had done [.. .] I told him I worked for a year triguero an important field in western Kansas. For Mr. Clutter. He wanted to know if Mr. Clutter was a very wealthy man. I said yes. [...] And since then never left Dick to ask things of that family. How many? How old should children? How do you come home exactly? [...] Dick began talking of killing Mr. Clutter. And Perry said he would go there to steal and kill all the witnesses, whoever Clutter and were walking over there. He described dozens of times how they would do, as he and Perry going to tie them and then shoot them . " . [1]
Truman Capote was devoted to collecting the lives of the characters deaths not collected the past wanted to show why human reactions, hidden behind an action and what consequences befall us in making a decision. The book is a collection of details, dates, facts, names, descriptions of more accurate and transcripts of every conversation held in the five years it took out the author perform research throughout the development of novel sample and reveals, through a thorough description to each character and their thoughts. resource uses the third person, in which the narrator disappears, leaving the protagonist of the text speak, each scene presenting the reader through the eyes of the character showing their peculiarities and feelings in a situation
An example of this is seen in the novel when the main-actor Perry waits for his partner to take to get there: "stood there on the edge of the approaches as "Drunk who can not throw up." Kansas City! Did not the chance that Kansas City was bad luck, Dick had not begged him not to return? Now, you may regret not having Dick ignored. And he wondered: What about me? With a couple of coins and a lot of chips of lead in your pocket! [...] [2]
A throughout the book can understand the construction scene by scene, the inclusion of dialogue, the point of view in 3 ª. Person (This includes the use of interior monologue), incorporation of symbolic details of the status of the people, the different way of presenting and organizing the meeting, the traditional story structure, titles dropping the information function as the language that goes giving way to expressive and poetic functions. [3]
also seems important to note that this type of narrative questions from their place of enunciation the postmodern era and the alienation that often produce the media. Calls upon reflection, analysis, ultimately, awareness.
Finally I regard as the ideal reader because the book encouraged me to seek additional information such as searching for images of the characters, and which had drawn in my mind, but I still I saw the necessity to see the faces of those hombres.Además the fact that the murderers of children influenced their lives made me rethink that, as humans are capases to control our lives and make decisions that We score the rest of our existencia.O four points in highlighting this form of writing is like the fact is built, is searching for his truth but not the truth as seen from one point of view but from all possible angles and to be told in this way will this giving a real existence. Reality is built and will be a version of the fact trying to confront with other versions of the same event.
addition, the author used to develop fully what official information ignores everyday conversations or dimensions. " Truth as such, lies in the task collection made by the researcher and the professionalism that has put into their work, direct evidence, documentation that proves you are saying there is evidence that undress in full when done. "
Finally I consider an ideal reader because for me the fact that we are facing new journalism texts based on real events, but to see the author presents us with a great job really aesthetic, presenting it as fiction, shows a new way to face reality and see the reader requires more than one type of genre left literario.Me more than clear that literature can encompass many fields and is adapting to today's society where, due to the events that occur, it is vitally important to be critical. Through this work I also note that literature is a means of criticism and reflection. As Tom Wolfe defined the journalists of the time: "social actors who participated in the same facts as narrated, is involved in the depths of the worlds and was linked to the characters that gave life to his writings."
Writers this appeal the facts using literary resources, thus producing an effect most of their readers. Particularly the end of this book touched me and reminded me how fragile human life but of transcendence leaving our actions and attitudes in people around us so we can say that the book contains more than a detective story, but also a teaching of life and makes us reflect on issues such as the death penalty, her forgiveness, love and how, despite the tragic events of some life must continue.
This work, perhaps by some of the same reasons that to me was to highlight, which was devoted to the writer as the father of the New Jurnalism (the title in English) but none of his later works had the same impact on the public nor the critics as this. Finally and n 1984 died in Los Angeles, California. Today, it is his work and his legend, to see who of all characters is completely Truman Capote, author of multiple disguises, who, as once said only was dedicated to live
