Obed had a special love for the motherland. It now occupies a place among the men and women who chose to die than submit to dictatorships.
Isis Murillo Mencia Obed learned, at age 19, that the work of young people is vital to promote the development of society and realized that social causes should be defended even at the cost of their lives. Obed is the sublime example of article 3 of the Constitution: "The people have the right to resort to insurrection in defense of constitutional order."
Guayape Santa Cruz, Olancho. A military bullet blew out a life on the strength of the country, July 5, 2009. That day, the army cracked down with bullets and tear gas at thousands of Hondurans gathered at the International Airport ToncontÃn, south of the capital to welcome President Manuel Zelaya.

CAUSE YOU CALLED
Sunday July 5, Isis Obed got up early to go along with his family at the National Pedagogical University Francisco Morazan and, hence, from with thousands of fellow countrymen ToncontÃn, where bide by President Zelaya and with it the hope of creating a Constitution in line with the reality of the country.
