Tegucigalpa - While the ongoing political crisis and curfews have overshadowed many activities in the country, several evangelical churches held yesterday in their neighborhoods and the National Day of the Bible with messages which call for peace and justice.

" God is love, the Bible says so. "" The Bible is the word of God "were among other messages of peace who stood out in dozens of Christians carried placards in this celebration.

According to Christian leaders, the central message of the Bible is present in the heart of all great religions, and urges human beings to develop their relationship with God and his ability to love others, concepts that are of great help in these days when the nation is divided.

THE PARADE
pastor of Gospel Tabernacle Church of God, Adam Tábora, said that pastors in the congregation usually provided (to the sound of drums, bells and whistles) bear testimony to many people who come to attend the walk.


"We are of the few churches to this day carry the show and now we leave from the park of the colony, we toured the community of Rio Blanco and La Prieto, treaties giving messages of salvation," he said.

Tábora Adam with his wife Elisa of Tabora and his congregation, was one of the few churches in the city who marched to commemorate the Day of the Bible.

"Given the crisis we are saying to the Church as a participant, but I must clarify that the pastors who have left to support a particular sector do not represent the position of all pastors in Honduras and make a personal capacity, "she said of the country needs peace as a result of justice.

ON THE BIBLE
1 - The Bible, a book inspired by God, was written over a period of approximately 1,000 years between 900 BC and 100 after. Today is the world's best selling book.


2 - In the Bible there are messages of the prophets, Jesus' words and testimonies of the apostles. The prophets, Jesus and the apostles acted and spoke at different times and in very different circumstances.

With Expo-Bible in City Mall and Valley Galleries, members Church of the International Christian Center (ICC) held a National Day of the Bible, which is celebrated the last Sunday in September.

Honduras is the only Latin American country to celebrate National Day by decree of the Bible, since 1987.

ITC Pastors called for Honduran society to attend the exhibition of ancient Bibles that will be held in malls and galleries Valley City Mall, which will feature different versions of the Bible.

The church building, located in Colonia Trejo, adjacent to the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Technician, will be also conducted family meetings to study the word of God.

The Gospel David Romero said that "we live in democracy and peace but for that we must return to retrieve the values \u200b\u200bof God."

Given the political situation facing the country, the minister pointed out the need for schools and public schools have a schedule for reading the Bible for young people to recover the values \u200b\u200blost.
